Request For Prayers

Our Prayer List

Please Pray for.......

Rita Dolan is the widow of one of our deceased Brother Knights. For several years she was actively engaged in the Bingo Kitchen and was an active member of the Council's Women's Auxiliary.  She had been in a car accident which resulted in a broken knee. She is presently in rehab therapy.  Please include her in your prayer list.

Eric Castillo, a brother knight, had surgery last night (Dec 20, 2005) to have his appendix removed. It had already ruptured (probably on Saturday) so we're all praying he'll be able to be home with his family for Christmas. He's at Chippenham, room 516.  Keep Eric in your prayers.

Family Death Notice:  Our Brother Knight Innocent Akunwafor's, mother  Theresa Akunwafor, passed away this past week.  Remember her in your prayers and  Innnocent and his family as they mourn the loss of their loved one this Christmas season.

Family Death Notice:  Our Past Grand Knight Earl William's mother passed away this morning,  She has been in poor health.  Earl was informed last week that she was close to death. She lived in Georgia and Earl is flying there today.  Council 6189 extends its deepest sympathies to our Past Grand Knight and his family.  Please pray for Earl and his family during their great loss.

Edward Mussall is in MCV.hospital.  He is on the 5th floor room # 37b.  Keep Edward in your prayers.

Since learning that our brother Knight, John Foster, has been ill, here is an update for you.  John is doing better!  His main problem is he has lost his voice and now speaks in a whisper.  He is hopeful that this will improve and he does appreciate our thoughts and prayers.  John said that he has no objection to receiving emails.  His e-mail address - - pghpct@verizon.net  . He would be pleased to hear from members of our Council.  Send him a note and let him know that he is in our prayers and thoughts.

Please remember Adam Giorgi in your prayers.  He has been placed him in a therapeutic group home.  This is a rough time for the Giorgi family.  Chris and Mary Giorgi, as well as Adam, can use all the prayers we can give them.  Please pray a Rosary for this family of friends.
